Path to Peace This Art School Drawing Trick Will Change How You Look at Everything

Send me a message

In art school, they gave us a strange assignment. It ended up changing how I see everything, and it has very little to do with drawing.

If everything we do is ultimately for happiness, why does our happiness never last? We blame people, money, luck and circumstances for our misery, but we also blame them for our joy. In both cases, we hand our peace to things that are always changing.

In this episode of Path to Peace with Todd Perelmuter, I share how to stop blaming others, and ourselves, in two steps: letting go of identification with the ego, and resting our attention in the stillness and silence beneath every thought. That's where lasting peace comes from, and the art school lesson at the end shows why it's been there all along.
