They Aren’t That Important

Hello my friend,

That thing you’re worried about, that problem you’re trying to solve, that goal you’re trying to reach, those hard challenges you’ve faced — they aren’t that important.

I know it seems like life or death, but it’s really just life stuff. We are the ones who make everything so urgent and important-seeming. We create the pressure and stress. We make simple things difficult. Heck, we’re even deathly afraid of public speaking — something no one ever died from. Everything is just happening; we are the ones who fear it, fight it, and hate it.

Because we’re always rushing around panicking all the time, we never have a chance to realize: actually everything is okay; actually, this is all perfectly normal, perfectly fine, perfectly natural.

So let’s take all take a collective, conscious, full belly breath. Let the mind stop racing for a moment. It’s too exhausting otherwise and the problems just aren’t worth it. No matter how hard life gets, we can all sit in stillness until we rediscover our inner strength. True, deep relaxation will happen. And it doesn’t take that long.

Much love,
Todd
