Hello my friend,
Life is action. We live in a dimension of action. Every atom in this physical universe vibrates trillions of times per second. Taking action, working hard, making choices, repairing relationships and physical structures, and taking care of ourselves and others, are required of us constantly.
The more we resist action, the more we suffer.
Why resist a natural part of life?
Why not embrace what life is all about?
It’s not supposed to be all pleasant, all easy, and all fun. Everything decays and requires maintenance. When we can embrace this truth, then life becomes pleasant, easy, and fun.
The more we react, the more we suffer. If we constantly react, we lose ourself to the world. We no longer make choices and our intentions get lost to the whims of the world. Our long term plans and goals get derailed by the demands of the moment. Reaction is action without consciousness, thoughtfulness, or consideration. We’re like a ball in a pinball machine but someone else is playing.
Act, don’t react. Take action, don’t take on stress. Don’t take on anxiety. Be the fearless, courageous, peaceful warrior who wins every battle because they never give up and they never give in to stress.
We can do stressful things peacefully when we don’t resist them. The peaceful warrior doesn’t avoid their responsibilities. They do not avoid challenges. They know suffering, pain, and death. They are peaceful because they act with clarity, with intention, and with the Universe.
Move with action externally, stillness internally. We do not need to internalize anger, stress, and sadness. We can witness it all peacefully and love it. We do not need to cling to joy or repel negative emotions. We can move without stirring up mental activity. We can simply float down the river of time, let the currents pull us forward, gently steer with the rudder of our intentions, and enjoy the adventure.
If you are alive, it is because you are here to learn this. Don’t fight the cosmos. Flow with it. The path of least resistance is to move and flow with the natural laws.
This is your act. You’re here to play your part. Your intention is the plot. The script is improvised. The ending unknown. Be present, commit to your role with enthusiasm, and life is guaranteed to be one heck of a show.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I am off to work on the biggest writing project of my life, pouring my heart and soul into 322 pages of (surprisingly) condensed, jam-packed lessons I’ve picked up, downloaded, and experienced in my decade-long search for truth. I’m about 2/3 of the way through The Guidebook to Being Human and I can’t wait to share it with you soon.
Much love,
Todd
